Course Objectives

The Classroom Environment

Cable Locators and Buried Pipes will be utilized to understand the health, safety, and financial repercussions and guidelines on how to comply with HSG47. We’ll talk about the documentation for new national laws and company rules. We’ll discuss them and provide examples of “doing it wrong.”

The Course Format

We’ll use our service plans and local knowledge to identify the preferred underground mains and service routes. The need to do visual site inspections before starting any operation will be taught to the operators (plans to be provided by the client).

Written Assessments

Participants will finish a multiple-choice written assessment after returning to class. A 70% passing mark is needed. Patients with dyslexia or reading impairments can take the audio exam.

Course Timings

Although the exact start and ending timings of the course are subject to vary, it is typically advised that they be set for 9:00 am and 3:30 pm, respectively, with sufficient pauses in between.

Course Prerequisites

The site work plans relevant to the area should be submitted. Sygma Solutions can create new plans if none already exist for a fee that will be discussed before the course is reserved. Additional blueprints will be needed if numerous sites are utilized.
